Skilled Tradesperson

We are currently seeking a skilled plumber to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out plumbing repairs and installations across various sites.
Annual Salary: £34,400
Duties and Responsibilities- Undertake new reactive or PPM tasking as part of a highly skilled maintenance support function within the garrison.
- Ensure all areas of personal responsibility adopt and utilise ADSL QHSE policies and procedures.
- Report all health and safety defects, near misses, dangerous occurrences, and spillages to the ASPIRE Helpdesk.
- Take all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of yourself, ADSL employees, customers, or members of the public who may be affected by your activities.
- Carry out all types of plumbing, mechanical repairs, and installation work (including ancillaries) to the required standard and in line with any documentation provided.
- Qualifications: Essential NVQ 2 in plumbing, City and Guilds Tech 2, or equivalent. Manual handling certification is also required.
- Experience: Proven experience working as a Plumber is essential. Understanding safe systems of work and having a working knowledge of other disciplines within a multi-task delivery service is also necessary.
- Skill: Ability to operate effectively as a competent person and understand the needs and implications of RAMS, as well as understanding the requirement for Safe Systems of work.
- Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required.
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo a security clearance process.
- The position is subject to a competitive selection process.
