Crownpeak is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Director to join our finance team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in guiding our financial strategy, decision-making, and planning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with experience in software technology and private equity owned companies. You will be responsible for building and owning a bottoms-up operating model, identifying and tracking business and departmental KPIs, and utilizing deep analytical skills to extract valuable insights from financial data.

You will work closely with our executive team, CEO, and CFO to provide guidance and facilitate financial integration across the organization. Additionally, you will establish ongoing improvement of FP&A processes and implementation of tools to enable automation and improve efficiencies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and owning a bottoms-up operating model
  • Identifying and tracking business and departmental KPIs
  • Utilizing deep analytical skills to extract valuable insights from financial data
  • Collaborating effectively cross-functionally to provide guidance and facilitate financial integration
  • Establishing ongoing improvement of FP&A processes and implementation of tools

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Private equity owned software technology experience
  • Fundamental understanding of SaaS, subscription, and usage-based business model metrics
  • Expert Excel skills, including building complex financial models
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with company systems, including ERP and CRM systems
