Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead our Group Finance team and drive the company's financial vision forward. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in managing cashflow, treasury operations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire the Group Finance team to achieve overall finance objectives.
  • Work closely with the Group Chief Executive, Chairman, and other stakeholders on Group Development planning.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting that supports business decision-making.
  • Oversee the production of monthly management accounts for each Business Unit.
  • Provide robust cashflow forecasting and minimise tax risks.
  • Continually review and enhance financial accounting processes to ensure they are robust and streamlined.
  • Build and manage effective relationships with external audit, tax, and insurance providers.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within a similar turnover company.
  • Extensive experience and contemporary knowledge of accounting principles, including UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • High competence in managing cashflow and treasury operations.
  • Exposure to UK tax and VAT returns, with a strong understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communicator, capable of building strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Highly IT literate, with deep experience using leading accounting software, MS Office, and ERP systems.
  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a deep understanding of accounting principles.
