Innovative Software Tester for Cutting-Edge Connectivity Solutions

We are seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to join our team in Cambridge, UK. The role is a 6-month contract (inside IR35) with the possibility of extension.
You will be responsible for developing innovative test framework solutions to verify our latest Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity chips, ensuring they meet the highest standards. You will work on testing these chips at a system or module level, typically hosted on Android OS or Linux platforms. We expect test automation to drive the host, drivers, or firmware on platforms and other third-party devices or equipment for complete end-to-end testing.
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about producing long-lasting software test solutions, can communicate effectively with developers, and work collaboratively with internal and external teams. This role will involve expanding existing automation frameworks to add support for automating DUTs, test tools, and lab equipment; we need an engineer with excellent Python scripting ability, test development, and testing experience.
