We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team at The Delivery Group Limited, one of the UK's leading logistics providers.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years' experience as a Class 2 driver, with a strong understanding of road transport legislation and a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies. You will also be required to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.

This is a permanent full-time position based at our Warrington Hub, offering a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your basic salary, you can also expect to receive benefits including free on-site parking, free uniforms, life assurance, and a company pension scheme.

We offer comprehensive training and development opportunities to support your career progression, including training up to Class 1 for candidates who wish to pursue this route.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete collections and deliveries to plan
  • Provide excellent customer service, displaying a professional attitude and behaviour to customers and staff at all times
  • Transport and deliver Company and Customers products safely and efficiently
  • Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed on time to meet all deadlines
  • Comply with local legislative requirements and Company policies & procedures
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner
  • Work as a team with other Transport Drivers
  • Maintain high standards of vehicle safety and cleanliness
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as required by the Company

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience as a Class 2 driver
  • Full clean UK driving licence (or a maximum of 6 points)
  • CPC certification
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Relevant regulated driving experience
  • Full knowledge and compliance of Road Transport Legislation
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • HGV Driving Experience
