About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Generation Engineer to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the plant operation on a continuous basis, ensuring safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control plant operation, responding to alarms and taking appropriate actions in a timely manner.
  • Perform Health, Safety and Environmental compliance, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Ensure plant availability and compliance with O&M procedures, work plans, and engineering procedures.
  • Complete plant shutdown and start-up procedures as required, ensuring the plant meets its generating requirements while operating safely and efficiently.
  • Enable efficient plant operation, utilizing technical documentation and drawings.
