About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Maintenance Operative to join our team at Savills Management Resources. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the shopping centre is presented to the highest possible standards, customer facilities are fully operational, and statutory compliance is always maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including outside maintenance and clearing roof drains.
  • Power wash bins and service yards as needed.
  • Escort contractors and ensure centre equipment is serviceable at all times.
  • Record water readings and ensure bins are regularly emptied.
  • Participate in on-site training for emergency procedures and work with security to assist with incidents.
  • Perform litter picking and graffiti removal duties.
Requirements
  • Ability to work on own initiative and deal with demanding situations.
  • Honest and reliable work ethic.
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to adopt a flexible approach to work patterns and work weekends/evenings as required.
  • Accurate record keeping with good attention to detail.
Desirable
  • Operational experience within a retailing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of H&S legislation.
  • Moderate DIY skills.
Working Hours and Salary

40 hours per week as per rota, including weekends and evenings. Salary: £11.50/hour.
