Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Systems Design Authority to join our team at Thales Optronics and Missile Electronics (OME). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and development of our airborne systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and safety.

The primary purpose of this role is to act as the Project Design Authority (PDA) for our airborne systems projects. This involves working closely with our engineering teams and supply chain partners to deliver compliant and safe products that meet customer requirements.

The key responsibilities and tasks of this role include:

  • Ensuring solution compliance with bids or projects;
  • Experience of working with international consortia and electronics, electro-optic, and opto-mechanical assemblies;
  • A strong background in systems engineering to understand and manage system complexities;

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
