Childhood Developmental Specialist

Academics Ltd is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in Wantage. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students with special educational needs and working closely with teachers and other support staff.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and/or young people, preferably in an EYFS or KS1/KS2 setting. A Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification is also desirable. The successful applicant will be passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and possess excellent communication skills.

The role offers a competitive salary of £417.50-450 per week, which is based on the location and industry standards. The job requires a full-time commitment, with working hours from 8:30am to 3:15pm.

The key requirements of this role include:

• Personal/Professional experience with children and/or young people (desirable)
• A caring individual with energy, drive and enthusiasm
• Ability to work as part of a team, alongside teaching and support staff
• Willingness to support a pupil with personal care where necessary
• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare OR has proven 3 year experience in an EYFS or KS1/KS2 setting
