About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Development Technologist to work on various product areas, liaising with teams and customers, and develop new products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative products that meet customer needs and expectations;
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure excellent service and satisfaction;
  • Conducting kitchen concept work, pilot plant trials, and factory trials to optimize product development processes;
  • Coordinating the New Product Development (NPD) process from concept to launch, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to market;
  • Evaluating and selecting new ingredients in collaboration with suppliers, ensuring compliance with Food Safety and Quality parameters;
  • Reviewing and approving artwork for packaging and labeling;
  • Providing technical support on ingredient, product, and process-related issues;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree-level qualification in Food Technology, Process Technology, or Food Science;
  • Proven experience in product development, with a focus on concept-to-launch projects;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers;
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate data and make informed decisions;
