Casual Early Years Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and engaging Early Years Educator to join our team at Ickle Pickles Nursery School. As a Casual Early Years Educator, you will provide cover as and when needed by the Nursery for periods of holiday, sickness, and supporting with vacancy gaps. This could be full day, morning or afternoon sessions.

About the Role:

  • Provide high-quality teaching and ensure all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences.
  • Work in partnership with the existing educator team to create an inspiring working environment and to ensure the successful running of the nursery.

About You:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification within early years preferred, however unqualified Educators will also be considered if you can demonstrate the necessary values and enthusiasm for working within this environment.
  • Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under the age of 5, is advantageous.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable.

What We Can Offer:

Rates of Pay:

From £11.50 - £13.28 – qualified Educators – dependent on qualifications and experience.

From £6.40 - £11.44 – unqualified Educators – as per NMW rate and demonstrable skills and experience.
