A Permanent contract | Part time opportunity awaits for a motivated individual to lead our Swim class programming, covering management, governance, and active selling of the product and services in the Swim classes timetable.

As Senior Swimming Programme Coordinator, you will be part of the Management Team reporting directly to the Fitness Manager and indirectly to the General Manager. Your role will involve full responsibility and accountability for the continual improvement of site standards with internal swim instructors.

You will be responsible for ensuring that every client has a safe and enjoyable experience at our pool, whether they're a complete beginner or an experienced swimmer. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and grow within a supportive team environment.

About the Role

  • You will manage the Swim class programming, including the creation of timetables and the coordination of instructor schedules.
  • You will work closely with the Fitness Manager to ensure alignment with the centre's overall goals and objectives.
  • You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new programmes and initiatives, driving innovation and excellence in swimming instruction.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, ensuring that all clients receive a warm and welcoming experience.
  • You will also be expected to maintain accurate records and reports, providing valuable insights to inform future programme development.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and team working skills are essential, as well as an infectious enthusiasm that inspires everyone you work with.
  • AAS or STA Level 2 qualifications and recent experience of teaching swimming are required.
