**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to take on the position of Curriculum Lead for English. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of excellent student outcomes, quality assurance, and enhancement of the curriculum.

The successful candidate will lead on key elements of the organisation of the AES team in order to support the delivery of excellent student outcomes. You will work closely with the Regional Head of English Curriculum to assure quality of provision and enhance the curriculum through the development of innovative practice.

You will report to the Regional Head of English Curriculum and be accountable for the delivery of contractually required progression rates to the University. In addition to supporting the effective line management of teaching staff from an academic perspective, you will also have accountability for student outcomes in AES.

About You

  • A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline; a Master's or higher degree is desirable.
  • A recognised Teaching Qualification (desirable).
  • Teaching experience within post-16 education, a UK pathway Centre or higher education.
  • Experience of providing feedback to another person about their performance, which achieved a positive improvement.
  • Experience of data management and interpretation, and quality assurance.
  • Experience of working within a Virtual Learning Environment.

Salary:** up to £43,000 per annum
