About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Cloud-Scale Software Engineering Lead to join our team at Omnea Limited. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our product, team, and company through each chapter as we transition from a start-up to a scale-up.

What You'll Do
  • You will support us in developing and implementing cloud-native and serverless technologies to ensure our systems remain agile, responsive, and safe.
  • As a full-stack software engineer, you will be entrusted with end-to-end ownership of your projects, covering everything from product and architectural decisions to deployment, monitoring, and measuring impact on users.
  • You will work closely with our team to tackle scalability challenges, ensuring our product, architecture, and processes adapt efficiently while maintaining performance and reliability.
  • Continuous delivery is crucial; you will deploy small, incremental changes to production multiple times per day, guaranteeing a constant flow of improvements and rapid adaptation to customer needs or technical challenges.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience building web applications, having designed and implemented features from start to finish (ideally full-stack, using Typescript and AWS).
  • Proven ability to spearhead the engineering of critical systems, working with best-in-class tooling in AWS, IaaC, observability, and quality assessments.
  • A focus on high-impact development, understanding what it takes to build highly reliable and well-architected products.
  • A willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable moving across the stack when necessary, and a passion for problem-solving and thinking from first principles.
  • A track record of owning projects from start to finish, taking initiative, and making decisions autonomously.
