About the Role

In this position, you will work with the Bereavement Support Service Lead to provide high-quality bereavement support to families and professionals across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide individual and couple sessions, as well as facilitated groups for parents and children affected by loss.
  2. Develop and establish Child Bereavement UK's service as a trusted source of advice and support for families and professionals.
  3. Contribute to the provision of a programme of support sessions and groups for families, young people, and schools.
Requirements
  • A recognised health, social care, or counselling qualification.
  • Experience working with children, young people, and families.
  • Excellent communication skills and passion for supporting bereaved families.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a DBS check. The salary for this role is £28,000 per annum.
