Operational Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Director to lead our state-of-the-art IBA Processing Facility at Ridham Dock. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the facility, focusing on health, safety, and environmental compliance, operational performance, and efficiency.

The successful candidate will provide proactive leadership to an established operational team, championing a culture of continual improvement across all aspects of the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire high standards of Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality culture, performance, and compliance.
• Manage, lead, and develop the site's operational team to deliver agreed-throughput and yield KPIs.
• Maintain site facilities and process equipment to ensure ongoing safe and efficient performance.
• Nurture relationships with key external stakeholders to ensure excellent service levels.
• Contribute to budgeting, strategic planning, and continual improvement activities to provide class-leading performance.

Requirements:

• A proven track record in managing high-volume, highly automated production processes in a relevant sector.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Good organizational skills developed within a highly regulated industry, with experience implementing and executing standard work.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant Health and Safety and environmental qualifications are desirable.
• Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation and a proven track record of quarry or aggregate recycling facility management is also desirable.
• Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
