We are seeking an ambitious and experienced veterinary surgeon to join our team in Ilford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a purpose-built, brand new practice with easy access to the M25 and central London. The practice sees a wide variety of small animal cases and has state-of-the-art equipment, including ultrasound, digital X-ray, and full in-house laboratory.
This is a key role within the team, requiring strong medical and surgical skills. The practice owner is a supportive mentor who has a keen interest in all aspects of veterinary medicine, with a particular leaning towards surgery. There is a generous CPD allowance and huge development opportunities available, making this an ideal role for those who want to grow and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality veterinary care to small animals
- Participate in on-call rota and provide emergency care when required
- Develop and implement treatment plans in consultation with other vets and veterinary nurses
- Mentor and support junior vets and veterinary nurses
Requirements:
- Qualified veterinary surgeon with experience in small animal medicine and surgery
- Strong medical and surgical skills, with a keen interest in surgery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
