Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Academy Head to join our team at Our Place School, a small Independent Special School approved to educate children with Special Educational Needs and Difficulties (SEND).

The successful candidate will focus on delivering structured learning in a creative manner, ensuring our pupils' educational needs are met and maximizing their achievements based on individual needs.

About the Role

  1. Foster a culture of excellence and innovation in teaching and learning.
  2. Develop and implement effective strategies to meet the diverse needs of our students with SEND.
  3. Collaborate with the management team to drive school improvement and achieve outstanding results.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Working towards or currently holding NPQSL/NPQH.
  • Outstanding leadership experience in special education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to manage a staff team and lead by example.

Salary and Benefits

£75,000 - £90,000 per annum depending on experience.
