Special Needs Education Specialist

The Horizon Teachers team is seeking an experienced Special Needs Education Specialist to join their Alternative Provision in London. As a Special Needs Education Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs to achieve academic success. Your experience working with SEND students will be invaluable in this role.
About the Position
This permanent full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary of £37,500 per annum, depending on experience. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure consistent support for students. The school is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing and delivering targeted interventions to improve student outcomes, working closely with teachers and support staff to ensure consistent support for students, monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed, and maintaining accurate records of student progress and intervention plans.
