Our client, NES Fircroft, is an analytical testing facility seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the preparation and extraction of samples, as well as maintaining a clean and organized laboratory work area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and extraction of analytical samples and reagents, including basic analysis using classical wet chemistry techniques in accordance with laboratory test procedures.
- Basic laboratory testing where appropriate.
- Ensuring Quality procedures are adhered to.
- Data entry into LIMS.
- Maintaining a clean and organized laboratory work area, free from rubbish.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Ideally hold a Degree, HNC or HND in Chemistry.
- Previous Laboratory experience would be an advantage.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive approach to work.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to use initiative.
We estimate the salary for this role to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
