Teaching Assistant - Level 2

We are seeking an exceptional teaching assistant to join our small and friendly infant school. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting children's learning and development, and will be able to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term contract starting from 28th October 2024 until 31st August 2025. The successful candidate will be working 30 hours per week, term-time only.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Assist with planning and preparation of lessons, including preparing resources and materials
  • Work with children individually and in small groups to support their learning and development
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and effective working relationship
