About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our Deeside Site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce safe work systems and hold subordinates and contractors accountable for health and safety performance.
  • Provide safe equipment, a safe working environment, and necessary personal protective equipment for all employees and contractors.
  • Ensure employees are adequately informed, instructed, trained, and supervised to safely perform their duties.
  • Commit to zero injuries by maintaining a safe environment, investigating incidents, and implementing countermeasures.
  • Interpret and apply departmental policies, procedures, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Manage maintenance schedules, quality initiatives, safety targets, and operational metrics to meet organizational goals.
  • Supervise staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Promote continuous improvement, efficient resource use, safety, quality, and high performance through policy development and budget control.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Knowledge of ATEX/DSEAR, SEVESO/COMAH regulations, and relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Experience in managing change within diverse environments and building strong relationships.
  • Skills in interpersonal communication, influencing, coaching, negotiating, and team coordination.
  • Ability to analyze data, develop proposals, and demonstrate strong business acumen.
  • Proficiency in advanced PC skills, financial and commercial awareness, and project management.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, strong teamwork, and professional work ethics.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction and a hands-on approach to tasks.
  • Enthusiasm for developing others and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
