Job Title: Teaching Assistant Evaluator

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant Evaluator, you will play a vital role in assessing the performance of teaching assistants at Level 3. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate candidates against published assessment criteria.

Key Responsibilities:
* Participate in regular training and standardisation activities to ensure accuracy and consistency in assessments.
* Maintain and provide evidence of ongoing, relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to enhance your skills and knowledge.
* Assess candidate performance in accordance with published assessment and grading criteria.
* Follow protocols set out in Pearson's specifications and quality assurance protocols to maintain high standards.
* Report all risks and issues encountered during assessments to Pearson for prompt resolution.
* Ensure all EPA reports and assessment evidence are of high quality and accurately recorded.

Requirements:
* Strong understanding of the educational sector and the role covered by the apprenticeship.
* Knowledge and understanding of the Teaching Assistant standard at Level 3.
* Experience of complying with quality assurance requirements is essential.
* English and Math qualifications at Level 2 or above are required.
* A current DBS check is necessary for this role.
* Minimum of two working days per week will be required for the EPA role.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
