Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to join our team at Right Now Recruitment. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt, processing, and dispatch of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and Processing: Receive and process incoming goods from customers, unloading/loading vehicles, checking paperwork, weighing, and measuring items.
- Reporting Discrepancies: Report any discrepancies or damages to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts, and hand jacks, to palletize, stretch wrap, and band cargo.
- Preparation of Outbound Shipments: Prepare outbound shipments ensuring the correct documentation, labelling cargo, and handling ULD's.
- Logistics Support: Support logistics operations by picking, packing, performing inventory checks, and meeting quality standards.
- General Warehouse Duties: Perform general warehouse duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Forklift Experience: Ideally 2 years forklift counterbalance/reach experience.
- Airfreight Background: Airfreight background is highly desirable.
- Security Clearance: Must be able to complete a 5-year reference check and hold a clear DBS.
