Main Responsibilities:

  • Certify products in line with product certification procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Support industrial validation processes through the use of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and process proving activities to guarantee product quality.
  • Collaborate with the design authority to ensure optimized Design for Manufacture (DfM) principles are applied, resulting in efficient and cost-effective production processes.
  • Maintain product certification and approval through regular audits and inspections to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Apply a versatile skill set across a variety of tasks, including operating equipment, tools, and measuring implements associated with the manufacturing cycle.
  • Ensure manufacturing build, inspection, and test times are met to maintain production schedules and deadlines.
  • Complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack accurately and efficiently.
  • Uphold the highest standards of workmanship and product quality, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all procedures related to the manufacturing process, including safety protocols and good housekeeping practices.

Requirements:

  • Formal technical engineering or craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent academic qualifications.
  • Proven ability to certify products and apply a wide range of skills using various tools and instruments.
  • Strong team player with a customer-focused approach, excellent planning and organizing skills, and flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic working environment.
