About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural designs and solutions for a variety of projects, including residential, refurbishment, and education sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement structural designs and solutions for projects, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our design and delivery processes.
Requirements
  • BA or MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • A minimum of five years' post-graduate experience, with at least two years working for a UK-based design consultancy.
  • Proficient in structural software such as Tekla Structural Designer, AutoCAD, and Fastrak.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and contractors.
  • A positive, can-do attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
