Maintenance Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a nationally recognised manufacturer in the food production industry. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced, regulated automated environment and be comfortable handling mechanical repairs on conveyor systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the team in dismantling and replacing machine parts
- Uphold health and safety regulations in a fast-moving automated environment
- Conduct all mandatory logs
- Ensure the efficiency of the production line
Requirements:
- Several years of experience working within a FMCG environment, preferably food production
- Completed an onsite apprenticeship or hold a level 3 NVQ in Engineering or similar
- Confident working with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, motors, rollers, gearboxes, fabrication repairs, fitting new parts etc.
