GSL Education is proud to offer a unique opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Ashford, Kent. In this Kent SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity, you will have the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of students with complex needs.

Role Overview

This is a permanent position, working 37 hours per week, with a competitive salary of £26,000 per annum, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special educational needs, be able to provide emotional support and guidance, and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide individualized support to students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behaviors and attitudes among students.
  3. Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  4. Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in regular review meetings.

In addition to your passion for supporting students with special educational needs, you will need to hold a valid DBS check, as well as any relevant qualifications or training.
