Job Title: Site Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Maintenance Operative to join our team at AWD online. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the school's environment and ensuring the safety and comfort of the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including grounds maintenance, plumbing, electrics, and decorating.
  • Receive and distribute incoming goods and mail, ensuring correct distribution and dispatch.
  • Set up scheduled room layouts, equipment, and facilities for open evenings and weekends.
  • Monitor the car park, ensuring only authorized users are parked.
Requirements:
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Numeracy and Literacy.
  • General knowledge of building maintenance procedures and relevant skills.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety and security issues.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and make decisions in emergencies.
