Neurology Internship at ChesterGates Veterinary Specialists

We are seeking a dedicated veterinarian to join our Neurology Internship program at ChesterGates Veterinary Specialists.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside our multidisciplinary team of specialists, including internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesia.
  • Participate in daily ward rounds, case discussions, journal clubs, and neurology-specific rounds.
  • Gain experience in a state-of-the-art hospital environment equipped with MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, electrodiagnostic, ultrasonography, and a dedicated neurosurgical suite.
  • Assist in various procedures, including surgeries, diagnostic testing, and patient care.
  • Contribute to ongoing research and development projects.
  • Rotate through on-call shifts (OOH) as part of the internship program.
Requirements:
  • Has completed a rotating internship or has relevant small animal practice experience.
  • Possesses strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Is passionate about neurology and committed to pursuing a residency program.
  • Is fluent in written and spoken English.
