About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Handler to join our team in Bristol. As a Senior Claims Handler, you will be responsible for handling a varied caseload of legal expenses claims with a value of up to £25,000. You will use your excellent customer service skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including solicitors, brokers, and accountants, as well as personal customers. This is a fast-paced role, so organisational and prioritising skills are key. You will work closely with our team to ensure that claims are handled efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse range of claims, providing excellent customer service to our customers.
- Oversee the customer experience throughout the claim life-cycle, from first point of contact to investigating evidence and making informed decisions on claims outcomes.
- Provide clear, concise, and accurate information to our customers, business partners, and internal customers.
- Develop your knowledge of ARAG products and policies to become an expert in assessing and identifying claims, and managing appointments of litigators and solicitors where necessary.
About You
We are looking for candidates that can demonstrate:
- An understanding of delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- A drive to work in a customer-facing or technical role.
- Experience in working in a claims environment in general insurance, or in legal services.
- A calm and patient manner when dealing with challenging and emotional claims.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
