Job Title: Nursery Room Leader

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our team at The Murrayfield Nursery in Edinburgh. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for our children, promoting their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement engaging and purposeful experiences for children, aligned with their age and stage of development.
  • Enhance the daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
  • Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility for this position through impartiality and consistency.
  • Embed an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and identify training or development needs for staff.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor.
  • Understand and ensure that the requirements of the Curriculum for Excellence are met.
Requirements:
  • Qualified in Early Years with a minimum of 3 years working in a Nursery Setting and at least 1 year experience in a leadership role.
