Clinical Neuropsychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Neuropsychology team. The successful candidate will provide clinical psychology/neuropsychologically-informed assessments, formulations, and interventions for patients referred to the HMR Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team (CNRT) and the Bury Integrated Team (CSNRT).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neuropsychology and experience working with patients with neurological conditions. They will be responsible for providing training to other members of the multidisciplinary team and contributing to the development of evidence-based clinical neuropsychology services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical psychology/neuropsychologically-informed assessments, formulations, and interventions for patients referred to the CNRT and CSNRT.
• Provide training to other members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to the development of evidence-based clinical neuropsychology services.

Requirements:

• DClinPsy qualification.
• HCPC registration.
• PGDip Neuropsychology - 1 year completed.
• Additional academic qualification (e.g. diploma, research MSc, PhD).

Experience:

• Previous experience of work in a neuropsychology service.
• Neuropsychological assessments.
• Cognitive interventions.
• Applying therapy in neurological populations.
• Mental capacity assessments.
• Adapting communication.
• Assessment and therapy with complex mental health conditions.
• Previous experience of patients undergoing rehabilitation and exhibiting challenging behaviour.
• Previous experience of providing clinical supervision for Assistant Psychologists or Students.
• Prior experience of service development.
• Previous experience of work within a specialist epilepsy or functional neurological conditions service.
