About the Role

Tesco Pharmacies seeks a highly skilled Pharmacy Lead to join our team. As a Duty Pharmacy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting pharmacists, providing top-notch services to customers, and fostering community spirit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplying prescriptions, delivering NHS and Private services, and providing healthcare advice to customers.
  • Supporting our charities support program by giving advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
  • Supporting the Pharmacy Manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues.
  • Building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries.
  • Ensuring accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items.

Requirements

  • A Pharmacy Degree.
  • Membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willingness to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
  • Completion of a DBS check before employment.
