Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Metallurgist to provide technical support to our Technical team for routine production.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze mechanical and chemical test results against customer specifications and collaborate with the test laboratory.
  • Validate heat treatment charts, both in-house and with sub-contractors, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Verify SAT reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Contribute to the certification process of products.
  • Participate in internal audits and complete them as scheduled by the business.
  • Process orders and enquiries, including technical contract review, route generation, and assignment, as well as generate quality and method control documentation as needed.
Requirements
  • Metallurgy or Materials Science degree-level qualification.
  • Strong understanding of the physical metallurgy of steel and nickel-based alloys.
