Tutoring Opportunities for SEN Students

Remedy Education is recruiting an experienced Outreach Tutor to deliver high-quality tutoring and learning support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in East London.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to work closely with SEN students, offering tailored, one-to-one or small group support in various settings across Redbridge.

Your Key Objectives:
  1. To provide personalized tutoring to students with SEN, adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and needs.
  2. To create and implement individualized learning plans using a range of strategies and resources to meet diverse student needs.
  3. To promote independent learning and help students build confidence in their abilities.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ideally in an outreach or tutoring capacity.
  • Knowledge of different SEN categories, including autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and speech and language needs.
  • Strong communication skills to build rapport with students, parents, and school staff.
  • A passion for education and helping children achieve their full potential.
Remuneration:

This is a competitive salary opportunity, approximately £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
