Mortgage Intelligence is a thriving mortgage and insurance network based in Bournemouth. We are seeking a Commissions Administrator to join our small, friendly team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the calculation and payment of fees in an accurate and timely manner. They will handle broker and lender queries regarding the payment and recovery of fees to our brokers.

  • Achieving set targets (KPIs)
  • Team collaboration
  • Calculation of fees when received from lenders
  • Efficient and accurate data processing into our database – ensuring all payments are correct and balanced
  • Verification of processing accuracy
  • Timely processing of payments with deadlines met
  • Liaising with lenders and brokers to recover outstanding debts
  • Handling phone calls from brokers and lenders for resource purposes
  • Taking ownership of problems and resolving them while keeping line managers informed
  • Following procedures and standards to ensure customers are treated fairly at all times
  • Carrying out ad hoc tasks as delegated by line managers
  • Self-motivation, good communication skills, and thinking outside the box
  • Multi-tasking and being organized to meet service standards
  • Being responsible for own work and reporting progress to Supervisors
  • Adhering to Consumer Duty principles to deliver good customer outcomes
Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Good standard of general education (5 GCSEs grade A-C including English & Maths, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 12 months experience in an administrative role
  • Good numeracy & accuracy skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure & meeting deadlines
  • Good verbal communication skills with excellent telephone manner
  • Professional approach & positive attitude
  • Customer service, Accounts or Financial Services experience
Location

This role is based in Bournemouth, offering a hybrid working arrangement.
