Work Location: In-Person (Must be able to travel to Sandwich daily)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Production Operative to join our team at a leading food production company in Sandwich. As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for assisting the management team with manual handling tasks, organising the warehouse, and operating the tray wash system.

You will also be responsible for sorting through seeds for quality control and packing food items, such as baby lettuce, ready for distribution to external food businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the management team with manual handling tasks.
  • Organise the warehouse and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Operate the tray wash system.
  • Sort through seeds for quality control.

Requirements
  • Proven ability to follow instructions and work with initiative.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays and some weekends as required.
  • Comfortable standing for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment is highly desirable.
