Eating Disorders Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Eating Disorders Service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with complex eating disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with eating disorders.
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including clinical psychologists, specialist nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service-wide initiatives to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Participate in research and quality improvement projects to advance the field of eating disorders.
- Provide teaching and training to junior staff, including medical students and junior doctors, to develop their skills and knowledge in eating disorders.
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Fully registered with the GMC with a license to practice.
- Approved clinician status.
- Excellent knowledge of eating disorders and their treatment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
