Process Technologist

Avara Foods is a leading food business in the UK, supplying chicken and turkey to major supermarkets and restaurants. We're looking for a skilled Process Technologist to join our team at our Wednesbury site.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with NPD and production teams to coordinate factory trials and ensure smooth transitions of products from concept to launch.
- Provide information to specification technologists and development technologists to ensure effective launches of all products.
- Manage sample requests and fulfillments, including nutritional, microbiological, and allergenic sampling.
- Support factory trials, pre-pros, and product launches.
- Lead the generation and maintenance of factory specifications, quality attribute standards, and customer specifications.
- Support the HACCP team and external customers during development processes, trials, and site visits.
- Provide operations support to effectively launch new products.
- Food-related HND, Intermediate Food Safety Level 3, Intermediate HACCP Level 3, and internal auditing qualification.
- Food process technology and/or food industry knowledge/experience.
- Sufficient experience working within a food manufacturing environment.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving techniques.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal.
