About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team at Crooton Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of fruit and vegetables throughout our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and packing fruit and vegetables to meet customer orders
  • Operating pallet power trucks (PPT) to move stock around the warehouse
  • Working independently and as part of a team to achieve warehouse targets
  • Maintaining a high level of attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient operations

Requirements:

  • Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks
  • Ability to follow standard practices and instructions
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment, including experience with MHE
  • Good communication skills and understanding of the English language

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.50
  • A £500 signing-on bonus, paid in two installments of £250 after 4 weeks and 12 weeks
  • A permanent, full-time contract with a 4-on-4-off shift pattern
