Job Title:

Regional Sales Manager - Drainage & Water Management Products

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team at SRS Group Holdings Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key customers in the Northern England region, including architects, consultants, and main contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to increase sales and market share.
  • Understand the specification process with major contractors, consultants, engineers, architects, and D&B contractors.
  • Raise the company's profile within its existing specification base and build new relationships.
  • Look for new specification and project opportunities.
  • Review and progress any leads generated by NBS Source and the brand-specific websites.
  • Defend specifications and target/break competitors' specifications.
  • Deliver training and product presentations to contractors and CPD presentations to consultants/architects/contractors/developers.
  • Take a project from inception to main contractor on-site stage, gaining specification for as many projects as possible.
  • Look to take the company's products into new markets.
  • Promote and sell new product ranges.
  • Assist with new product development, as needed.
  • Work as part of a team and hand projects over to the Area Sales Manager at an agreed stage.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in specification sales, with a strong knowledge of the building products supply chain.
  • Experience in selling drainage, civils, or water management products is considered a huge advantage but not compulsory.
  • Ability to problem-solve and offer technical assistance at the project design stage.
  • Knowledge of reading site drawings is essential.
  • Concentration on the specifier, contractor, and project stage of the supply chain, with a knowledge of the merchant customer base an advantage.
  • Existing relationships with architects, engineers, main contractors, and developers are essential.
  • Ability to manage a similar-sized geographical area, advantageous.
