We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our client's business and support the quality department in developing systems and processes aligned with their growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit production processes to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Support finished goods audit processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and resolve workflow and production issues to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introduction (NPI) processes and 8D investigations to identify root causes.
  • Develop training materials and operating manuals to ensure seamless implementation of new processes and procedures.
  • Participate in process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA) workshops to identify potential failure modes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop quality control plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of quality systems and processes.
  • Familiarity with lean tools, 6 Sigma, or automotive improvement techniques to drive process improvements.
  • Strong team-working skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working in manufacturing businesses with ongoing NPI considerations.
  • Ability to support the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • A can-do approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
