About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Suppression Systems Engineer to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, testing, and commissioning Fire Suppression systems to the relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to meet the expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers.
  • Fabricate, test, and install the appropriate pipework / systems; dismantle and reconstruct equipment as needed.
  • Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials, and clean up installation / service debris and waste accurately.
  • Install / test and repair in accordance with relevant service standards.
  • Follow and install fabrication drawings / instructions.
  • Report and document fully any changes, deficiencies, or deviations in systems.
  • Accurately complete Engineer work reports, handover certificates / pressure test certificates or checklist as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Appropriate experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Demonstrate a successful track record of achievement.
  • Preferable time served within a technical environment such as Fire Suppression equipment or Fire Sprinkler Systems.
  • Must possess sound industry knowledge and have shown background through recognised apprenticeship or hold similar qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and climb ladders.
  • Ability to use power tools to repair and / or dismantle systems pipework or components.
  • A willingness to travel to sites and occasionally stay over to complete the work.
