Job Title: Automotive Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at e-ppl Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks on vehicle re-works, including general bodywork removal and refit, removal and refitting of interior trims, light mechanical work, and general modifications to original vehicle build.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and repair on vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
  • Identify problems with vehicles and plan repair procedures using charts, manuals, and experience.
  • Test the functionality of parts and systems.
  • Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation.
  • Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, and other parts.
  • Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles.
  • Assist in keeping the repair shop clean and organized.
Requirements:
  • Experience working on components of modern light motor vehicles.
  • Experience in an automotive environment is essential.
  • A full category "B" driving licence is essential.
  • Must have own range of Mechanical tools.
Benefits:
  • Hourly Rate: £15.00 to £24.94 per hour.
  • This is a contract work opportunity for Limited Company or Umbrella.
  • Location: Solihull and Coventry area.
  • Commutable traveling distance from Coventry, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Redditch, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, and Tamworth.
