About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Airworthiness Documentation Expert to join our team at Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services UK. As a key member of our airworthiness documentation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all documentation meets regulatory requirements, supporting the creation and issuance of work packages for Landing Gear assembly, and providing technical support to production departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements
  • SUPPORT the creation and issuance of work packages for Landing Gear assembly
  • Provide technical support to production departments
  • Work with LTLGS' SAP system to define material requirements based on ongoing configuration
  • Aid in continuous improvements to ensure departmental efficiency
  • Ensure all work in LTLGS is in accordance with Airworthiness Directives
  • Produce Missing and Damage reports for customers and create condition reports based on received conditions
  • Communicate with OEMs as necessary for clarification of technical queries

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree-qualified (BEng 2:1) in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical or Engineering, HND considered
  • Additional language skills (German/French) desirable but not critical
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) within the Aerospace industry, ideally working on aircraft configuration control at an MRO facility
  • Experience working with production control packages (MRP/ERP), SAP desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Packages
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a global company
  • Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft publications arena, EASA 145/CAMO/Part M airworthiness compliance experience desirable
  • Ability to read and understand aircraft documentation efficiently, Boeing data system experience desirable
