Deputy Head of Pastoral Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team at The Phoenix Collegiate. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the provision of pastoral care throughout the school, ensuring the emotional, physical, and intellectual wellbeing of the whole student body.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of a coherent and innovative whole-school pastoral curriculum
- Design and deliver training programs for staff to enhance their understanding of student wellbeing
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to identify and address student needs
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and support
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to student wellbeing
We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of school leadership, who is passionate about student wellbeing and has a commitment to helping all students achieve success in all its forms. You will be a strategic thinker, able to inspire confidence amongst students, parents, and staff, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
