Our esteemed Private Treatment Services, located in Bristol, provide accessible and compassionate mental health care. Bristol Hospital and Priory Wellbeing Centre

Our Grade II listed hospital building is set in extensive grounds, just off the M32 and less than three miles from the centre of Bristol. We offer a wide range of services, including Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU), eating disorders, acute care, rehab, and recovery. You will also have the opportunity to hold clinics at our satellite clinic – Bristol Park Clinic.

Our outpatient clinic is strategically located for easy accessibility, with excellent connections to the M4 and M5 motorways. We offer comprehensive services, including 1:1 therapy, group therapy, and Psychiatry appointments. Free on-site parking is available for both staff and visitors.

Role and Responsibilities

The role of a Visiting Consultant is an exciting opportunity, offering the chance to build and manage a private outpatient practice while also contributing to our inpatient services. Bristol Priory Healthcare will provide administrative support to VCs to arrange timely and effective clinics. Priory support VCs with marketing and there are opportunities to be involved in Media promotion.

This VC post will also have practising privileges to admit to our 9 bed private ward which has access to separate daily therapy programme for addictions and general psychiatry. On the private ward, there are weekly MDT ward rounds and a separate weekly review which the VC would be expected to attend. There are other VCs currently admitting to the private ward which is also supported by Specialty Doctors.
