About the Role

Sterling Cross Careers is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (Adult) to fill the position of Clinical Lead Nurse for our Inpatient Unit (IPU). As a leading charity for specialist palliative care and associated wellbeing support, we provide cohesive palliative and end-of-life services for adults with life-limiting conditions.

The successful candidate will lead a highly skilled team in providing exceptional palliative and EOL care to people with conditions such as organ failure, late-stage cancers, and degenerative conditions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring each patient receives individualized care to effectively manage their symptoms and support their wellbeing
  • Contributing to ongoing service development initiatives to ensure care within the IPU remains safe, responsive, and person-centered
  • Leading a close-knit team in providing exceptional palliative and EOL care

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult)
  • Notable professional experience delivering specialist palliative care/end-of-life care
  • Professional history of clinical leadership/management and service development at a level equivalent to NHS AfC Band 7 or higher
