About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our publications team as a Database/Publications Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for tracking the review process for developing medical publications, maintaining databases, and providing accurate and timely updates to meet client and author needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track timelines and author comments through a publication review database and Excel spreadsheets
- Maintain databases and provide accurate and timely updates to meet client and author needs
- Accurately upload and download information regarding ongoing projects and ensure this is communicated to the relevant contacts
- Work with a team of medical writers and account managers to ensure that the publication process runs smoothly and according to established targets
Requirements:
- High levels of attention to detail and excellent word processing skills
- Methodical, process-driven individual with strong communication skills
- Ability to work under own initiative and prioritize a varied workload
- Previous experience in data administration and a background in healthcare communications/pharmaceuticals advantageous but not essential
